Some Time in New York City [
John Lennon / Yoko Ono
Some Time in New York City是英国摇滚音乐家约翰列侬的第3张个人专辑,也是小野洋子第5张个人专辑。
Dave Marsh
Milwaukee Sentinel:
Woman Is the Nigger of the World和The Luck of the Irish还有New York City都是精品之作,值得一听。

What is that magic ingredient that makes a song a hit? One may well ask, but whatever the secret, John Lennon and Paul McCartney have most certainly discovered it!
This unique songwriting duo penned the first British recording for the Beatles, Love me do, the song which started the string of hits for these two writers,to say nothing of the start of the outstanding success story of the Beatles themselves. The pair were awarded ten of the hundred awards presented for the best songs in the U.S.A. in 1964,and became the top songwriters of the same year.
This record is-as the title suggests-stars singing the songs of Lennon/McCartney,stars who made them into smash hits.
Happy Xmas [War Is Over] [音乐] 豆瓣
"Happy Xmas (War Is Over)" is a Christmas song by John Lennon, Yoko Ono and the Plastic Ono Band. It was recorded in late October of 1971, and features soaring, heavily echoed vocals, and a sing-along chorus. The children singing in the background were from the Harlem Community Choir. This song was John Lennon's reaction to the war in Vietnam.
Although the song is a protest song about the Vietnam War, it has become a Christmas standard and has appeared on several Christmas albums.
