Dix ans après la mort tragique de son fils Esteban, Maddi rencontre Tom, un jeune garçon qui lui ressemble étrangement. Intriguée, elle déménage de son Pays Basque natal pour se rapprocher de Tom en Auvergne. Elle découvre rapidement qu’en plus de la ressemblance physique, Tom a des réminiscences et visions de souvenirs d’Esteban. Quand une série de meurtres secoue la paisible région, Maddi ne peut s’empêcher de se demander : ces événements sont-ils liés à la mort de son fils ? Qui est vraiment Tom et quel est son lien avec Esteban ?
