The evening before Christmas eve. Vilde is hanging out with her gang at the central station, when she gets to know her mother has been in an accident. She is forced to contact her biological father, but wants to run away to Tokyo.

Two Norwegian female ambulance paramedics get caught up in a conflict with a group of Romanian immigrants, after being called out to an address where it turns out nobody lives. Sanne, one of the paramedics has to make a difficult choice to solve the situation. The choice she makes has fatal consequences for everyone involved. She has to live with that choice for the rest of her life.
