A husband and wife are getting divorced. The bone of contention is a villa in Mexico, in Acapulco. Finally, the luxurious mansion is put up for auction, and the heroes go their separate ways. 梦想成为芭蕾舞蹈家的乌克兰女孩Aurora(俄文音译Avrora)在切尔诺贝利核电事故中受到严重辐射，被送往美国治疗，在那里碰到了她的童年偶像，芭蕾舞蹈家Astakhov，而当时的Astakhov正处在事业和人际关系的低谷中自暴自弃，坚强而有执著于芭蕾的Aurora感动了Astakhov，于是Astakhov受到Aurora名字的启发，决定为孩子们指导一版睡美人。
学舞蹈的孩子们纷纷参加角色选拔的测试，已经被剃掉头发的Aurora羡慕的看着即将成为主演的女孩Vera。趁大家不在，Aurora偷偷跑到摄像机前为自己拍了一段自编的舞蹈。
演出成功了，童话中的Aurora公主被王子吻醒，而现实中身患绝症的Aurora抱着Astakhov送的舞鞋被推进了手术室。
演出结束之后，大屏幕上放映起了Aurora当初自拍的那段舞蹈。。。
