This is the portrait of painter Bona Tibertelli De Pisis - wife of writer Pieyre De Mandiargues � while working in her atelier, together with fragments of her graphic works inspired by one of Remy de Gourmont誷 writings.

Born in Kwilicz, near Poznań, he studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków, then devoted himself to painting and lithography [1], including the creation of posters for the cinema [2], which earned him a national prize in 1953. In 1959, he settled in Paris.
His early films were surreal animations, some only a few seconds long, including several comic abecedaria. His most acclaimed early films were Był sobie raz (Once Upon A Time) (1957) and Dom (House) (1958, with Jan Lenica). In 1959, he worked with Chris Marker for Les Astronautes. Major works of this period include the nightmarish Jeux des anges (1964) and the stop motion film Renaissance (1963), which uses reverse motion to depict various destroyed objects (a prayer book, a stuffed toy, etc.) re-assembling themselves, only to be destroyed again when the last object (a bomb) is complete. In 1967, he directed his first animated feature film, Théâtre de Monsieur & Madame Kabal: un film dessiné pour les adultes (Mr. and Mrs. Kabal's Theatre).

This is perhaps one of the funnies, yet most bizarre movies I have ever seen. I am in awe. Heavily surreal. Every scene has so much creative power and craziness you just can't avoid being fascinated by it.
There's a story too of course, but I'm not sure I'd dare to try and explain it.. It was all so confusing. Well, there's Mrs. Kabal.. a funny old lady which seems to think she's something important(like the old lady in Sunset Blv. or something..) And there's butterflies, and Mr. Kabal, and a huge house.. and these strangelooking creatures.. and so much details. Its so funny. At one point Mr. Kabal tries to puncture a hole in Mrs. Kabals huge chest, and instead of it shrinking.. the whole woman grows into a giant! And then Mr. Kabal finds the hole in her stomach and comes into this huge building inside her with stairs, windows and stuff..
And then Mrs. Kabal was shouting at him to do tasks in there. It was all pretty weird to follow. But there was a story going on. See this if you get the chance!

In 1976 Borowczyk was commissioned by ZDF’s Eckart Stein to make an experimental portrait portrait of his adopted home, Paris. Shooting on 16mm film cartridges using a compact, clockwork Krasnogorsk movie camera, Borowczyk presents the French capital as an urban hell. Unlike the ‘city symphonies’ of Vertov and Ruttmann, there is no optimism here, but rather the loneliness of an atomised, overly mechanical and resoundingly consumerist society. A brief glimpse of a giant billboard advertising The Margin testifies to the sheer range of Borowczyk’s vision. Also, look out for Borowczyk’s reflection behind the eyepiece of his camera…

本片改编自法国十九世纪著名的批判现实主义作家司汤达的小说《血染风情——1589年的故事》。
贵族为了光耀门楣，把他们的女儿送到修道院修身养性。这些修女们出生于佛罗伦萨最富有的家庭，她们留恋着五光十色的外部世界，不愿离开当时是欧洲商业中心的繁华都市，痛惜她们被剥夺的一切。她们强烈地抗议父母的不公正。有时她们只好在爱情上求得慰藉。因此修女们想方设法地纵欲，修女们追求性的乐趣可谓是五花八门......
老修女院长想阻止修女们不要尝试色欲的罪恶，但禁令也只能是形同虚设，因为修女们私底下基本上都有自己的情人。院长就趁修女们不在的时候，到修女的房间各处检查，一旦发现她们对上帝不贞的证据，就会对她们进行惩罚。
修女中的大多数都很年轻，对修道院的生活特别厌烦，平日里的消遣又很单调乏味。于是，禁欲的清规戒律使她们燃起了仇恨的烈焰，最终修道院里还是出了大事。
修女们联手做出了极端的行为，在院长的茶碗里投下了毒药。
院长死去了，修女们仿佛也自由了。当天晚上她们尽情地纵欲......
可是，过度的疯狂并不能给修女们带来永远的自由。第二天，院长的非正常死亡招来了警察。自知罪孽深重的几名修女只能畏罪自杀。

Three stories. A solitary sailor falls from his boat and washes ashore on a tropical island. While seeking rescue, he's found by a nearly naked woman who is playful and compliant. He decides to erase his signs of distress and remain on the island. What awaits? In the second, an adolescent searches for the words of a nursery rime he remembers bits of. His journey takes him into dreams, sexual awakening, and Oedipal fantasy. Third, a man of wealth in late-nineteenth century Paris hires a prostitute for the night. She's also cabaret performer and takes him to her room. He fears he's about to be robbed.

露露为一位试图引诱她的年轻画家做模特。当她的丈夫走进房间时，他死于心脏病发作。露露嫁给了画家，画家发现露露与施博士有着长期的婚外情，施博士的儿子给了露露一份工作，于是露露自杀了。露露杀死了Schon医生，然后去了伦敦和他的儿子一起生活。最终，她变成了一名妓女，成为开膛手杰克的牺牲品。
