"1917. Fleeing famine and war in Poland, Rebeca (Valentina Herszage) arrives in Brazil to reunite with her husband and start a new life. However, contrary to the promises of happiness, the reality she encounters in Rio de Janeiro is completely different. She discovers that her husband has passed away and ends up becoming a hostage in a large network of prostitution and human trafficking, led by the ruthless Tzvi (Caco Ciocler).
