Assola is an imaginary village on the border between Italy and France and the borderline crosses the village itself. The French customs agent Ferdinand is always trying to catch the Italian smuggler Giuseppe. Giuseppe discovers that Ferdinand was actually born in Italy and therefore he can't be a French customs agent.

Dans ce téléfilm extrêmement difficile à trouver de 1962, Delon joue le rôle de "Il", un homme sans nom qui aime beaucoup son chien. Mais le destin nous joue parfois de drôles de blagues, alors pour une nuit, notre protagoniste perd son chien et trouve l'amour d'une belle femme ("Elle", interprétée par la magnifique Elke Sommer).

Un petit cambrioleur découvre, lors d'un méfait, un homme mourant qu'il aide à aller jusqu'à l'hôpital. Par coïncidence, il est soutenu par le fameux détective Nestor Burma à qui le défunt lègue son testament, une mystérieuse adresse : 120, rue de la Gare. Aidé par deux amis journalistes et une nouvelle secrétaire intrépide, Burma mène l'enquête et découvre rapidement qu'il n'est pas le seul.

Reported missing in 1940, Jacques Ledru comes back to Strasbourg as Martin Schmidt. He tracks down his wife Genevieve, but she's remarried and has taken the head of his shipping company. She and her husband will do anything to get rid of Jacques and keep his company.
