If <i>ye</i>, Kanye West’s solo album released one week prior, was him proudly shouting about his superpower—bipolar disorder—from the peak of a snowcapped mountain, <i>KIDS SEE GHOSTS</i> is the fireside therapy session occurring at its base. Both Kid Cudi and West have dealt with controversy and mental illness throughout their intertwined careers. It’s all addressed here, on their long-awaited first joint album, with honesty and innate chemistry. Kanye’s production pulsates and rumbles beneath his signature confessional bars and religious affirmations, but, centered by Cudi’s gift for melodic depth and understated humility, his contributions, and the project overall, feel cathartic rather than bombastic and headline-grabbing. On “Freeee (Ghost Town, Pt. 2),” the sequel to <i>ye</i> highlight “Ghost Town,” both men bellow, “Nothing hurts me anymore…I feel free” with such tangible, full-bodied energy, it feels as though this very recording was, in itself, a moment of great healing.

Insano (stylized in all caps) is the upcoming ninth studio album by American rapper Kid Cudi. It is set to be released in January 12, 2024, via Wicked Awesome Records and Republic Records. Kid Cudi had announced this would be his last contractual album with Republic, the major-label he had been with since his commercial debut album, Man on the Moon: The End of Day (2009).

Entergalactic is the eighth studio album by American musician Kid Cudi. The album was released on September 30, 2022, as the musical component to Cudi's upcoming adult animated special of the same name.

Republic Records has released the original song Just Look Up from Adam McKay’s Netflix original film Don’t Look Up. The track is performed by Ariana Grande & Kid Cudi and co-written by themselves, the movie’s composer Nicholas Britell and Taura Stinson. The song is now available to stream/download on all major digital music platforms (including Amazon). Check out the official lyric video after the jump. As previously reported, a full soundtrack album featuring Just Look Up, Britell’s original score and another original song performed by Bon Iver will be coming out next Friday, December 10. Don’t Look Up is written and directed by McKay and stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence, Meryl Streep, Rob Morgan, Cate Blanchett, Jonah Hill, Mark Rylance, Tyler Perry, Timothée Chalamet, Michael Chiklis, Melanie Lynskey and Himesh Patel. The film will be released in select theaters on December 10 and will premiere on Netflix on December 24.
