公牛费迪南德生在一个景色优美、恬静自在的农场里。与其他好斗的伙伴不同，费迪南德无比热爱大自然，清香的芳草和美丽的花朵是他的最爱。不过命运似乎就是一个玩笑，某天，一群人来到农场挑选斗牛表演的公牛。爱好和平的费迪南德本不可能入选，谁想阴差阳错出现的小蜜蜂竟让他展开从未有过的狂怒大暴走，也因此其出色的资质被斗牛侦探所发掘。可怜的费迪南德从此告别心爱的农场，身不由己走入了人声鼎沸的斗牛赛场。不知会有怎样的命运等待着他……
本片荣获1939年奥斯卡金像奖最佳动画短片奖。
