From the Impresario of NBC’s hit show The Apprentice
TRUMP ON TRUMP: “I like thinking big. I always have. To me it’s very simple: if you’re going to be thinking anyway, you might as well think big.”
And here’s how he does it: the art of the deal.
Beginning with a week in Trump’s high-stakes life, Trump: The Art of the Deal gives us Trump in action. We see just how he operates day to day—how he runs his business and how he runs his life—as he chats with friends and family, clashes with enemies, efficiently buys up Atlantic City’s top casinos, changes the face of the New York City skyline . . . and plans the tallest building in the world.
TRUMP ON TRUMP: “I play it very loose. I don’t carry a briefcase. I try not to schedule too many meetings. I leave my door open. . . . I prefer to come to work each day and just see what develops.”

Even a maverick plays by rules, and here Trump formulates his own eleven guidelines for success. He isolates the common elements in his greatest deals; he shatters myths (“You don’t necessarily need the best location. What you need is the best deal”); he names names, spells out the zeros, and fully reveals the deal-maker’s art: from the abandoned property that became the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center to the seedy hotel that became the Grand Hyatt; from the race to rebuild Central Park’s Wollman Skating Rink to the byzantine saga of the property that became Trump Tower. And throughout, Trump talks— really talks—about how he does it.
TRUMP ON TRUMP: “I always go into a deal anticipating the worst. If you plan for the worst—if you can live with the worst—the good will always take care of itself.”
Donald Trump is blunt, brash, surprisingly old-fashioned in spots—and always, always an original. Trump: The Art of the Deal is an unguarded look at the mind of a brilliant entrepreneur and an unprecedented education in the art of the deal. It’s the most streetwise business book there is—and a sizzling read for anyone interested in money and success.

Donald Trump has asked many of the brightest, most successful businesspeople he knows—and some he doesn't know—to answer this question: What's the best business advice you ever received? The result is a compelling resource of wisdom and wit that reveals how some of the most accomplished people conduct their personal and business affairs, giving an inside look into the secrets of corporate success. But the advice doesn’t only come from the upper echelons of the Fortune 500. Thoughts poured in from executives at thriving companies large and small, ranging from well-known icons such as Staples, American Airlines, Lillian Vernon, and Boeing to family-run operations like Orleans Homebuilders and Carlson Companies.
The Way to the Top brings together the core ideas that have guided more than 150 of today’s top businesspeople, offering a range of inspiring and practical advice on making good decisions, conducting yourself appropriately, developing your career, communicating with others, leading a team effectively, and much more. HOW TO GET RICH
Real estate titan, bestselling author, and TV impresario Donald J. Trump reveals the secrets of his success in this candid and unprecedented book of business wisdom and advice. Over the years, everyone has urged Trump to write on this subject, but it wasn’t until NBC and executive producer Mark Burnett asked him to star in The Apprentice that he realized just how hungry people are to learn how great personal wealth is created and first-class businesses are run. Thousands applied to be Trump’s apprentice, and millions have been watching the program, making it the highest rated debut of the season.
In Trump: How To Get Rich, Trump tells all–about the lessons learned from The Apprentice, his real estate empire, his position as head of the 20,000-member Trump Organization, and his most important role, as a father who has successfully taught his children the value of money and hard work.
With his characteristic brass and smarts, Trump offers insights on how to

? impress the boss and get a raise
? manage a business efficiently
? hire, motivate, and fire employees
? negotiate anything
? maintain the quality of your brand
? think big and live large

With his luxury buildings, award-winning golf courses, high-stakes casinos, and glamorous beauty pageants, Donald J. Trump is one of a kind in American business. Every day, he lives the American dream. Now he shows you how it’s done, in this rollicking, inspirational, and illuminating behind-the-scenes story of invaluable lessons and rich rewards.
From Publishers Weekly
With a central role in NBC’s The Apprentice, Trump’s star is soaring. In his fifth book (after The Art of the Deal, he offers a cursory glance behind the scenes of the hit reality show, but the bulk of the text consists of business advice ("Be Tenacious"; "Play Golf"; "Be Optimistic, but Always Be Prepared for the Worst") with illustrative details culled from his real estate and media dealings. (The glimpses he presents of his transformation of 40 Wall Street hint at a story that might deserve a more serious book all its own.) There are some surprises; at times, the quintessential New Yorker sounds almost like a California New Ager as he recommends up to three hours of quiet reflection a day along with the writings of Carl Jung. But he’s soon back in recognizable form, advising readers to "screw enemies back" and explaining why various people (including former governor Mario Cuomo and talk-show host Joy Behar) are dead to him. Trump appears comfortable with himself, and he even makes light of potentially touchy subjects, such as his hair: "My hair is one hundred percent mine. No animals have been harmed in the creation of my hairstyle." There are occasional missteps, like an imitation of the New York Post’s iconic gossip column "Page Six," which reads more like an annual Trump Christmas letter. But Trump’s books have done an effective job of capturing his grand personality in print, and this volume is no exception. B&w photos throughout.
From AudioFile
The famed entrepreneur delivers an audiobook of anecdotes and advice. Thickly laden with bravado, bonhomie, and name-dropping, HOW TO GET RICH will teach you much about Trump's passions, the people he loves, and those he detests as he rambles from tidbits about real estate, entertainment, and rules for living to commentary on which celebrity is a jerk and which is "a great guy." Trump is black or white--he loves or hates, demanding his version of excellence from all he deals with. "The Donald" lives large and boldly, and really doesn't care whether you like it or not. Barry Bostwick tackles the role with gusto, venality, testosterone, and tongue firmly in cheek. And if you don't learn something from Trump, as incredibly determined, focused, and busy as he is, you should be fired. D.J.B.

Why We Want You to be Rich [图书] 豆瓣
作者: Donald J. Trump / Robert T. Kiyosaki 出版社: Rich Press 2006 - 10
The world is facing many challenges and one of them is financial. The entitlement mentality is epidemic, creating people who expect their countries, employers, or families to take care of them. Donald Trump and Robert Kiyosaki, both successful businessmen, are natural teachers and have joined forces to address these challenges. They believe you cannot solve money problems with money. You can only solve money problems with financial education. Trump and Kiyosaki want to teach you to be rich.
"Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach him to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime."
They each could have written a book on the subject, but they chose instead to write a book together because of their shared passion for education and their desire to bring emphasis to the importance of financial education. In addition they have designated a portion of the profits from each book to be donated to charitable and educational organizations that also support financial education.

Trump's story begins when many real estate moguls went belly-up in what he calls the Great Depression of 1990.  Trump reveals how he renegotiated millions of dollars in bank loans and survived the recession, paving the way for a resurgence, during which he built the most successful casino operation in Atlantic City, broke ground on one of the biggest and most lucrative development projects ever undertaken in New York City, and outsmarted one of South America's richest men for rights to the Miss Universe pageant.
Blunt, outrageous, smart as hell, and full of hilarious stories--check out his chapter "The Art of the Prenuptial Agreement"--Trump tells it like it is: the women in his life; the wild and woolly deals; negotiating tactics; his investment philosophy; and his strategy for success or coming back from adversity.
Whether you love him or hate him, one thing is certain about Donald Trump: He is a true American original, with great instincts and billion-dollar dreams.  The Art of the Comeback is Trump at his best--unpredictable, irreverent, and irrepressible.
