Gucci Mane remains one of the most active OGs in the rap game, never letting more than a few months pass by without releasing new music . These days, the 41-year-old rapper has been championing his label’s buzzing new artists, including Pooh Shiesty, Foogiano, Big Scarr, and more. However, he’s still been getting work done in the studio by himself, announcing the release of his new surprise album Ice Daddy, which comes out 6/18.
After stunting his massive “Ice Daddy” chain a few months ago, Gucci Mane has followed up on his new moniker by converting it into his latest studio album’s title, celebrating his son Ice Davis’ four-month birthday and giving the newborn an executive production credit early on in his life.

Gucci Mane teamed up with long-time collaborator Drumma Boy to produce the majority of the album with producers Southside and Zaytoven each contributing a song to the 13-track release. Features on the album include Brick Squad counterparts Waka Flocka Flame, OJ Da Juiceman, Cash Money's Baby, Wale, Master P, Webbie, 8ball, Rocko and Wooh the Kid.

Gucci Mane makes a lot of music. Ever since his release from prison last year, Gucci has returned to the relentless recording pace that helped make him a cult hero a decade ago. Last year, Gucci released three studio albums. His last one was Droptopwop, the Metro Boomin collab that he released back in May. And now, Gucci has announced that he’ll release a new one called Mr. Davis next month. The album will include guest appearances from the Weeknd, A$AP Rocky, Schoolboy Q, Big Sean, Monica, and others. And after appearing on Migos’ breakout mixtape YRN years ago, Gucci has recruited the now-dominant Migos to appear alongside him on the eerie, restrained first single “I Get The Bag.” Below, listen to the track and check out the Mr. Davis tracklist.
