King Kong - Live On Stage, or simply King Kong, is a musical with music by Marius de Vries, lyrics by Michael Mitnick and Craig Lucas, a book by Lucas and additional musical and lyrical contributions by 3D, Sarah McLachlan, Guy Garvey, Justice and The Avalanches. It is based on the 1933 film of the same name and is produced by Global Creatures, who designed the six-metre animatronic silverback title character. Under the direction of Daniel Kramer, the musical is choreographed by John O’Connell. The musical opened to mixed reviews on its world premiere opening night gala at the Regent Theatre in Melbourne, Australia on 15 June 2013, following previews from 28 May 2013. Originally booking through 28 July 2013, the musical most recently extended its booking period for a third time, with performances now scheduled through October 6.

Let the Right One in is an onstage adaptation of John Ajvide Lindqvist’s Swedish horror novel and film, reworked for the stage by BAFTA award winning writer Jack Thorne. Like the original novel of the same name, the play is a heartfelt love story between two children, one of whom turns out to be a vampire…

The onstage re-imagination of the tale, now set in the brisk Scottish Highlands, has taken the darker elements of the original novel, resulting in a deeply chilling piece.

This tale of blind love in the face of all odds arrives in the West End following a sell out run at the Royal Court Theatre in Sloane Square, London.

Puppeteers Jack Parker and Kim Scopes complete the ensemble.
From Scrooge and Tiny Tim to Bob Cratchit and Mr. Fezziwig, Patrick Barlow’s imaginative adaptation of A Christmas Carol will bring some of Dickens’ most memorable characters to life.
Coming together to create this innovative new work are some of our most loved and mischievous maverick theatre-makers. The play is written by the Olivier Award-winning and Tony nominated Patrick Barlow (The 39 Steps) with whom Jim Broadbent performed for many years in Barlow’s cult comedy troupe The National Theatre of Brent. A Christmas Carol is directed by Olivier Award-winning Phelim McDermott, Artistic Director of Improbable, one of Britain’s most inventive theatre companies, and who was responsible for the iconic 1998 production of Shockheaded Peter. McDermott also directed Theatre of Blood at the National Theatre in which Broadbent last appeared on stage.
Joining them is the critically-acclaimed designer Tom Pye (The Testament of Mary, The Death of Klinghoffer, The Low Road) and Toby Sedgwick (War Horse, The 39 Steps) as Director of Movement. Peter Mumford will design the lighting and Gareth Fry will design sound.

The story will follow a medium who convinces her husband to kidnap a child so she can help the police solve the crime and achieve renown for her abilities. When her true intentions come to light, however, her husband realizes the plan threatens to consume them both. The novel was previously adapted as a film in 1964 starring Richard Attenborough and Kim Stanley.
