The Japanese-Australian filmmaker focuses, as she herself says, on genre stories told with heart. Her short film Creswick premiered at the 2016 Melbourne International Film Festival and went on to screen at more than 60 festivals. In 2020, she made her feature debut with the psychological horror Relic, starring Emily Mortimer, Bella Heathcote and Robyn Nevin.
