HOOPTOBER 3.0 NIGHT TWENTY-SIX: I'll give the filmmakers credit -- when I hit play and first heard the plummy British English/Received Pronunciation narration, I was tempted to chalk it up to Netflix messing with the dub on one of their foreign film acquisitions. Little did I know that this initially bothersome detail -- which I had mistaken for good ol' fashioned Western imperialism at work in cinema culture -- was in fact the setup for an unexpected visual punchline so good it's worth watching the whole movie for.
