a review of 暗夜博士：莫比亚斯

FLOPUARY #6: The absolute minimum-level acceptable superhero movie, nothing here that we haven't seen in some much earlier and better form. Whether that's a dark-avenger type leaping up into the sky through a cloud of bats, or slo-mo hand-to-hand combat, or the hero fighting another guy with identical powers, or detectives arriving on the scene minutes behind the hero and/or antagonist, there's literally no cliche too picked over for this one. The wholly CGI'ed credits stinger reintroducing Michael Keaton's Vulture to the Morbiverse is maybe the cheapest ever groundwork for a long in the offing sequel that's still probably never going to happen. Between this and The Flash, Keaton deserves so much more from his late-career return to the genre, but alas.
