MANNVANUARY FOUR: As a Blaxploitation-era companion to Bonnie & Clyde, it's perhaps not quite as compellingly ambiguous in how it asks us to sympathize with the title characters, preferring instead to paint a picture of a flawed but fairly wholesome Black love story that's more interested in seeing the duo living free (for a time, anyway) than in going out in the inevitable blaze of glory.
