HOOPTOBER ONE NIGHT EIGHT: + 2022 CULT MOVIE CHALLENGE WEEK 13: LESLIE NIELSEN WEEK I kind of wish that more effort had been expended to create real tension about the killer's identity, because it seemed fairly clear-cut to me from the beginning. I wish we'd maybe gotten a little more Nielsen considering his top billing here. As it is, it feels an awful lot like a lower-grade HALLOWEEN knockoff that 1) happens to actually have the star of HALLOWEEN (and Jamie Lee Curtis sort of single-handedly saves it) and 2) is way more interested in goofy teen-movie BS than John Carpenter ever was.
