Beyond dopey. There's nothing particularly Atlantis about this besides some incoherent legendary tale someone cooked up. And the big draw for the low-lifes we're supposedly identifying with is hundreds of pearls, which anyone can tell you look pretty boring in such ridiculous quantities. The soundtrack tried to be a character in and of itself, veering wildly between a dozen styles, making even the boring diving scenes seem like nonsense. I think there was only one somewhat likeable character, and she's the one who ends up killing the blonde supposedly tribal lady who jumps her which somehow ends up dooming her people? Just guessing, really. I cannot recommend this film even just for laughs with its multiple scenes of pointless animal cruelty.
