An indie film needs to know its strengths. This one really has no clue. The general conceit is good. People can be cured, brought back from their zombie state. Sounds great. But every shot feels like it was done in one take. I'm giving the actors here the benefit of the doubt, as even the best actors will have bad takes. That said, the acting is bad. The movie relies heavily on monologues and stilted dialogue. And the lighting is horrible. The movie is 2 hours long. Needless to say it overstays its welcome. Had it been cut to 90 minutes, maybe its flaws wouldn't be quite so noticeable. But the big flaw is that its a zombie movie which is lacking in zombies.
