Your boy Pauly is right about this one, it's really good and worth seeing. Great acting all around grounds a neat conceit for what may otherwise have been a somewhat generic heisty romp. While I'm knocking half-star for a small "of course it is" hiccup of a moment nearing the finale, it's still a pretty good ending overall. I teared up a little too, though, so maybe I'm being too harsh?
