HOOPTOBER ONE NIGHT TWENTY-NINE: Excellent gothic horror atmosphere, but at the same time I couldn't quite comes to grips with the lugubrious pacing and the somewhat predictable supernatural twist. Christopher Lee gets to do a little bit more actual acting (as opposed to silent glowering) than in many of his Dracula films from the same period, but I still wish that his character had been used less as a psychological plot device and was more of a front-and-center villain.
