HOOPTOBER NINE! NIGHT FIVE! Given the years of labor that Tippett and his collaborators have put into realizing each painstakingly-created level of this ever-churning phantasmagoria, it's probably fair to wonder if there's some overriding meaning behind all the Bosch-meets-Bacon imagery, and I'll leave that to others to ponder. I was simply intrigued to take the ride that it offered and see what it had to show me, even if it only adds up to a collection of wild vignettes reminiscent of '90s MTV interstitials.
