a review of 誓血五人组

This could've been a tight exploration of race, the treatment of vets, PTSD, family...but it isn't. Mostly good performances are emotionally cut off at the knee by a terrible and terribly bland score that almost never stops to give any of the few good scenes room to just be. These good scenes are cut short, but then there's at least 20 minutes worth of other crap that could've been cut and weren't. A 4 star movie that managed to squeeze itself into a 2.5 star package is a slightly-too-long 3 star movie-of-the-week.
