#82 (March 23/31) Watched this one along with The Flop House Podcast crew this week. It's one of the only major Spielberg films that I had never seen, and honestly I think I probably could have just kept it that way. This movie was just a massive waste of talent (There's a scene with Toshiro Mifune, Christopher Lee, and Slim Pickens all on screen at the same time, and it just SITS there), and kind of exhausting to watch; the comedy was based almost 100% on things just nonsensically pinballing around the screen and knocking other things over, in a way that eerily prefigures the "chaos cinema" of filmmakers like Michael Bay. Not recommended.
