2021 CULT MOVIE CHALLENGE WEEK 30: KAIJU WEEK Not much to really say about this one, other than that it's interesting to see how the Godzilla franchise formula went from existential terror and wholesale annihilation in the first few movies to light campy parody within its first decade. It's also interesting that Toho was aiming for a young couples audience with this one, because I honestly cannot conceive of this being any kind of date movie.
