丑陋的继姐 - 评论
In which we found out how much of the BUFF audience had read the Grimm's version of the Cinderella story and knew what was coming. I really don't often flinch from gore or look away from the screen, but I did here. This film really doesn't spare the details. There is as much horror in the way Elvira's treated by her mother and her dance instructor as there is in the ways they seek to reshape her physically and mentally into the ideal princess. What makes this stand out from a lot of the body horror I've seen at BUFF is the writing - there are a lot of sharp comic moments throughout.
