灵魂乐之夏 - 评论

MANNVANUARY THREE, #2: A beautifully made documentary with a perfectly-judged blend of jaw-droppingly great performance footage, unintrusive narration providing background about the performers and organizers of the festival, and personal reminiscences from Harlem residents who were there. It subtly makes the case that there is a whole swath of uniquely Black American history that needs to be rediscovered and properly remembered just as much as the first-pass hagiographic imagery of the 60s and 70s we all grew up with.
