Watch a film shorter than 80 minutes An extremely silly companion piece to Honda's DESTROY ALL MONSTERS that plays as kind of a cross between ALICE IN WONDERLAND and HOME ALONE in its structure. The first official acknowledgement by Toho that the Godzilla franchise are now 100% movies for kids, with the Monster Island plot confined to recurring dream sequences where a bullied latchkey kid learns about friendship and sticking up for yourself from baby Minilla and his dad Gojira. The ending is actually sort of subversive, in that the morals are 1) you should absolutely punch your bully to show them you won't be intimidated, and 2) you should then immediately play a prank on a nearby grown-up, just like that same bully double-dog-dared you to do earlier.
