PODCAST MACABRE 2025 CATEGORY 1: FROM 2025 I found this one to be really fun for about the first hour before falling off sorta precipitously in the last 30 minutes. Everything that happens in the 1999 "prologue" is so absurd and funny, but once things escalate into the present-day it all feels like diminishing returns. I hope Oz Perkins takes another shot at doing comedy, his tone reminds me a lot of contemporary filmmakers like The Daniels or Quentin Dupieux, but for whatever reason this one just didn't sustain my interest.
