MANNVANUARY THREE, #1: Considering that this is widely considered to be the first true "blaxploitation" movie, it almost plays like a dead-on parody of the genre, with nice comedic touches offsetting the crime-noir aspects. Godfrey Cambridge and Raymond St. Jacques make a fun detective team, and now that I know there's a sequel (Come Back Charleston Blue) I'm definitely adding it to my watchlist.
