漫漫长夜 - 评论

MANNVANUARY FOUR: The rare example of a feel-good noir with a pro-humanity message, coming hot on the heels of WWII and an America just coming to grips with its newfound dominance as a superpower and the largely unspoken mental health issues affecting returning veterans. Wildly overwritten and melodramatic, with characters making frankly insane assumptions about each other, and launching into impromptu inspirational pep talks in the middle of dramatic and dangerous situations, but I appreciate that it wears its heart on its sleeve.
