I was getting a sinking feeling during the first reel where they went on and on about some basically unlikeable characters, but eventually they got to the part the B-movie fans came for with the aliens and whatnot. The gags didn't really have me cracking a grin and there were a lot of them. I would say that the production values were better than I expected with FX, cinematography, scoring a bit better than the bottom of the barrel. I'm afraid the acting was just on a par with that though. Still, it wasn't quite as objectionable as a film of this vintage could easily have been, so I'm going with a rating right in the middle of the range. Today's kids will probably think this movie was fun, sorta scary, mostly weird.
