Hooptober Night Two: On one hand, I appreciated how this anthology was built around the myriad narrative possibilities offered by the southwestern desert-highway setting. On the other, I wish that once they decided to connect everything that maybe there would have been a stronger thematic throughline outside of that. The movie lost a bit of steam for me around the fourth segment, but all in all I thought it was a pretty strong collection of stylishly made horror shorts.
