2022 CULT MOVIE CHALLENGE WEEK 36: NICK MILLARD WEEK I haven't seen any of Millard's other films to compare this one against, but I was genuinely surprised at how competently-made this was, give or take the silly oversized vampire fangs, leftover tempera-paint "blood", the weird jumpy editing, the community theater-calibre performances, or the apparent choice to record ADR in a wind tunnel. There's something very charming about the whole production, but ultimately it's not quite enough to make this really stand out from other low-budget vampire flicks I've seen.
