Well this was mostly watchable but did have a lot of seamy content they wanted the audience to be uncomfortable with. It's unclear how many ordinary folks survived the gorefest at the end, maby none of them, all for having the bad judgment of having an evil Count Mitterhaus running the show for them.I'm not sure why once the circus of vampiric relatives of the noble wheedled their way in why they felt they had to keep up the pretenses of being there to entertain people, unless they just really liked the lifestyle or something? I mean, they could have just gone to the castle, woken up their cousin, and that would be that, it seems to me. There were some questionable looking special effects, but the costumes and the lurid sounding soundtrack were pretty well crafted. I don't think the script was really conducive to letting good acting show, however.
