2021 CULT MOVIE CHALLENGE WEEK 46: AMERICAN INTERNATIONAL WEEK It's been a good long while since I read the original story, but this one feels the most true to Poe's writing of any of the Poe-Corman Cycle movies that I've watched so far. Price's performance is the main reason to watch, but I also enjoyed seeing the way Corman worked to create tension with a small cast and constrained locations with just a few sets.
