a review of 局内人

MANNVANUARY DEUX #10: I'll admit to groaning out loud when I realized that the title of this movie was 100% literal, and the script does sometimes feel like it's trying to bite off a little bit more than it can chew in terms of stylish twists. But Lee and his cast (which is ridiculously over-stacked, I have no idea how they got everyone's schedules worked out) pull it all off with a certain slickness that made it a fun watch. I'm glad to have finally made time for it as one of my many Spike Lee blindspots.
