HOOPTOBER 3.0 NIGHT TEN: Didn't like this one as much as the Carpenter-esque B-movie magic of Land of the Dead (2005), but Romero does well with the found-footage/mockumentary format. He even manages to make the last 20 minutes a sneakily more faithful adaptation of the first couple of Resident Evil games than the enjoyably bad Paul W.S. Anderson films, by virtue of the fixed security-camera angles and cast stumbling into rooms utterly unprepared for the zombified bullshit that awaits them.
