a review of 芭比
芭比 - 评论
I loved it. I loved the message of the film. I loved the humor. I loved the touching moments. I loved the music and the dancing and the spectacle of it all. If someone said to me "Let's go see/watch Barbie," I would again without hesitation. A few thoughts that are mostly non-critical, but I just want to get off my chest:
- Was casting America Ferrera as the voice of all of Womenhood a way to atone for what some believe was Greta stealing from Real Women Have Curves, America's first acting credit, to create Lady Bird? Probably not, but something I couldn't stop thinking about.
- When I saw Greta's Little Women, I was taken out of the movie for a few moments when a mutton-chopped Bob Odenkirk showed up as Father March. It wasn't stunt casting, but it didn't feel right. I bring this up because I really don't like Will Ferrell most of the time - especially when he's doing the same Will Ferrell character that he always does - and this time was no different, but his character here... This I could see Bob Odenkirk playing, and I would've found the brief time with this Mattel CEO character that much more enjoyable.
- I think I'm an Allan.
