a review of 边缘空间:电影

I am not comparing Backrooms (2026) to Cuckoo (2024) at all, but walking away from Backrooms yesterday, my mind immediately went to my review for Cuckoo, which I will post below in its entirety for your convenience:
On one hand, I kinda loved a lot about this movie - the actors, the mood, the tension, the weirdness - but on the other hand...what?
The more I thought about it (and with some light "posting through it" with Thomas), I don't know that I'm in a better spot with what all happened or what it all means, but I stand by the feeling I left with, which was that I kinda loved a lot about it and that I can only theorize what it all meant and where it all goes from there, and that's okay! And now, a joke: I guess the male loneliness epidemic really is that bad.
