2021 Cult Movie Challenge Week 14: Cannon Group Week This is the first time I've watched this one from beginning to end instead of just in bits and pieces while flipping around on cable, and I was shocked, *shocked*, to discover that there's really only three arm-wrestling scenes in the movie, only two of which have Sly directly participating. For a movie that was seemingly designed and marketed to single-handedly raise the profile of competitive arm-wrestling and make it the next big pop culture sports phenomenon, this feels like an upsettingly bad and confusing decision.
