When it was over, I thought "this was 4 stars of fun," but then I slept on it, woke up, and thought "you know, 3.5 seems right." Can't deny that Burt's a charmer, and as a down-on-his-luck private eye(?) he's got a moral compass and a heart of gold. And a killer flying kick and wardrobe to match! Some neat vignettes that show roughly a week in his life, helping old friends, making new ones, and just ambling along, dreaming of going to Venice. How could anyone not love Mex teaching Duke how to take a hit and dish one out? I don't know, now I feel like 4 again (but I'll leave it for now).
