HOOPTOBER ORIGINS 2.0 NIGHT TWENTY: Three movies deep into the Puppet Master franchise, and I still have yet to find a movie that I actually kinda like. This one at least has the decency to start at the beginning and give us the story of how Toulon's puppets came to be, even if the precise origin stories are a bit underwhelming. The handling of the cartoon Nazi bad guys also feels extremely slapdash, even for a low-budget exploitation film such as this.
