2020 Cult Movie Challenge Week 25: Larry Cohen Week This is one of those movies that starts out as one thing (a gritty '70s serial killer cat & mouse thriller) and somewhere around the halfway point turns into something else (occult conspiracy yarn) that doesn't feel entirely earned by the preceding text. The scene to scene narrative logic is spotty in places, to the degree that I briefly wondered if there wasn't a two-hour cut of this film somewhere that connected the dots a little more coherently. But then I guess it wouldn't have been a Larry Cohen movie in all its feverish bugnuts glory.
