This movie, about a Satanic Australian biker gang that knowingly lets a cop into their group so he can go undercover to try and find the guy killing off the gang members one by one, moves at a leisurely pace. You hangout with the group as they drink, race, drink, hangout, drink, fight, and also drink their way through their days. The cop doesn't appear to do much police work but ultimately gets the job done as he starts to feel truly enmeshed with this ragtag group of blokes and gals, so much so that the last thing he says before the credits roll is "No cops." I acknowledge that they aren't trying to be the same thing, but I keep thinking about Cruising, which does the story of "an undercover cop going so deep under the covers that he may never return" better. That said, it was still fun to spend some time with Cruising's goofy older cousin that's in from out of town.
