#11: The One I Love (on Amazon Prime) Another queue-clearer. I'm really glad that I didn't read or hear anything about this one other than a certain amount of buzz right around the time it hit streaming, and especially glad that I didn't get curious enough to search out spoilers. It's not that much of a total braintwister once you know the concept, but getting to discover things along with the characters is quite enjoyable. Without saying too much, this movie is basically what would happen if the characters in one of those terrible syrupy Nicholas Sparks or James Patterson romantic fantasy potboilers actually started to question the reality of their situation. It's such a good idea, I'm amazed that it's the only real parody of those books/films that I've ever run across. Admittedly, the genre isn't exactly in my personal wheelhouse, so maybe there's others out there that I just don't know about.
