2020 Cult Movie Challenge Week 7: Bruno Mattei Week The first 2/3rds feels like Aliens with the production values of a Troy & Abed project and is weirdly charming in its cargo-cultish emulation. But when it flips over into a Terminator pastiche (the movie's Ripley-analogue is literally named Sarah, FFS) I have to give Mattei credit for his utter lack of shame. I think between this movie and Lady Terminator, my new favorite B-movie subgenre might be unauthorized James Cameron ripoffs.
