The pacing and the acting wasn't that bad in this one, though it kind of falls down with the monster costumes in my opinion. The rank and file bad guys were mostly out of central casting. The story about a bunch of greedy capitalists hoping to score some amazing biological serum is maybe not as far-fetched as it must have seemed 40+ years ago. The young gas station attendant character Jude is worth an entire half star by himself. There are various cuts of this film where they tinker about with the non-PG rated stuff in a couple places, so be aware.
