The 1950s vibes are strong with this one, with memories of WWII still pretty fresh (military stock footage included). The action focuses on a little boy David who notices strange behavior among the townspeople around him who appear related to some subterranean activity in his backyard. Are they turning into space aliens with their leaders in little transparent domes? Or was it all a bad dream? The title is more assertive than the evidence presented in the movie.
