2020 Cult Movie Challenge Week 18: Nightmare USA Week I think I'm going to have to give this one a second try when I'm less tired. As it is, it seemed like a molasses-slow amalgam of Carnival of Souls, early Cronenberg, and leftover Lovecraft mythos background, which is all stuff I dig. But the structure, pacing, and tone, combined with the lack of any real connective tissue between its various elements, made this one a real tough sit. I'd love to see what other Letterboxd people are seeing here, but it just didn't take for me this time.
